You wrote to the 10 pages looking for info on a 9mm?

I'm not a 9mm expert, as I stopped loading it, shooting it,
and owning it MANY years ago, but since you made the mistake
of writing me, I figure I owe you a mistake or two in
return :-)

Anyway, weight depends on if you're talking about a loaded
or empty gun, a loaded or empty case, or just the bullet?

I'll assume you mean the "projectile" and I'll address those
weights.

The "BULLETS" for a 9 parabellum typically weigh 100-125 grains,
but other 9mm's like the .380 use 90 grain bullets, and .38
supers typically use heavier bullets in the 147 grain weights
because they have less or more case capacity respectively for
the bullet, and powder.

There are some obscenely BIG 9's but none are in production.

I hope I answered your question, now go forth and read the 10mm
site (COMPLETELY), find an interesting "launching platform" and
get a 10mm! Then write back for additional witty snippets of
generally (O.K sometimes) lucid thoughts on 10's.

   Regards, Gary
